The following soap formulas are tried and true. Number 1 is the recipe that I used for the crockpot tutorial. The other recipes that I have provided for you are using different combinations of oils that meet the criteria discussed in the lye calculation section. It is always prudent to run any new formula through a lye calculator to make sure it was printed or copied correctly. You will find links to the lye calculators that I have used in the resources section. I have created my own calculator using Excel. It contains all the specifications for the oils that I use. I have found that the lye calculators on line do not include the INS calculation.
